Please note that Till Orchard Surgery in Shrewton will be closed for the entire day on Wednesday 17 December 2025.
This essential closure is due to a planned power outage across the village of Shrewton, being carried out by the National Grid. These are remedial and upgrade works necessary to maintain the local power network. Given the length and nature of the outage, the surgery will be unable to operate safely or effectively, and we must close the premises for the full day.
Patient Services and Contacting Us
We want to assure all our patients that services will continue, albeit managed remotely:
- Telephone Calls: All telephone calls made to Till Orchard Surgery on Wednesday 17 December will be automatically diverted to our other operational partner sites across The Orchard Partnership. While your call will be handled by a different practice team, please be assured that we will answer your query and provide the necessary support.
- Non-Urgent Enquiries: To help our teams manage the diverted call volume and focus on urgent patient needs, we kindly request that if your enquiry is non-urgent, you defer your call until Thursday 18 December or another day.
- Pre-Arranged Appointments: Any pre-arranged telephone appointments scheduled for this day will still take place. Our clinicians will be working remotely and will call you as close as possible to your scheduled appointment time. Please keep your pre-arranged appointment.

The surgery will reopen as normal on Thursday 18 December.
