Important Notice For Patients – COVID-19

Rescue Packs

We are aware of some information circulating regarding ‘rescue packs’. Our surgery will not be issuing these so we kindly request that you do not phone the surgery to ask for a pack.

If you need medication please request in the normal way, either via your SystmOnline account or the website.

Important

Anyone with respiratory symptoms should visit NHS 111 Online or call NHS 111.

GP Appointments

Patient safety is our main priority and so from Monday 16th March, all patients requiring GP appointments will be telephone triaged. To help us facilitate this, please ensure your contact details are up-to-date and that you have consented to receive SMS texts. You can do this via our website.

If you do have an appointment with a nurse or GP, please wash your hands in the patient toilet when you arrive. Use hot water and soap and ensure you wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Nurse/HCA & Phlebotomy Appointments

Nurse and HCA appointments will be triaged over the telephone prior to having their face-to-face appointment confirmed. We will not be making any nurse or HCA appointments for anything non-essential.

Dispensary

Please order repeat medication online or put your repeat prescription request in an envelope and post through the door.

Walk-In Patients

Until further notice, all “walk-in patients” are asked to return home and phone the surgery with their query.

Please ensure you check our website, FB and Twitter feeds for updates.
